L-Arginine

The body uses this semi-essential amino acid as the primary building block for nitric oxide, a natural messenger molecule that’s involved in smooth muscle relaxation, dilation of blood vessels, and healthy erectile function.

Epimedium extract (50% single-peak icariin) (Medicariin™)

Derived from the plant genus Epimedium, Icariin has separately been shown in well constructed testing to promote normal erectile function in multiple models, enhance immune function, reduce the symptoms associated with certain types of depression, support bone health and density, and promote cardiovascular health.

A growing body of research shows that isolated Icariin inhibits the enzyme phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5) and significantly increases nitric oxide synthase, helping to improve erectile function in multiple models.

Berry Blend

Among berries' beneficial compounds are phytochemicals, which function as antioxidants, compounds that protect the body against free radicals (unstable oxygen molecules that cause cell damage leading to chronic and degenerative diseases).

Research published in the International Journal of Impotence Research finds drinking antioxidants such as pomegranate juice daily may help the management of erectile dysfunction and impotence.

Quercetin

Quercetin, a bioflavonoid, has strong antioxidant effects when studied in the test tube. As a widely available plant substance, Quercetin is considered a possible semi-nutrient, substances that are not essential for life but might help promote optimal health.

Alpha-Lipoic acid

Found inside every cell of the body, Alpha-Lipoic acid helps generate the energy that keeps us alive and functioning. It is a key part of the metabolic machinery that turns glucose (blood sugar) into energy for the body's needs.

Lipoic acid is an antioxidant, which means that it neutralizes naturally occurring but harmful chemicals known as free radicals.

Tea and Catechins

Tea is rich in catechin polyphenols, particularly epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). Catechins are antioxidant plant metabolites which belong to the family of flavonoids. EGCG is a powerful anti-oxidant: besides inhibiting the growth of cancer cells, it kills cancer cells without harming healthy tissue. It has also been effective in lowering LDL cholesterol levels, and inhibiting the abnormal formation of blood clots.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that neutralizes damaging natural substances called free radicals. A double-blind, placebo-controlled study found evidence that use of vitamin C led to an increase in intercourse frequency in healthy women, presumably because it increased libido1.

Preliminary studies suggest that vitamin C may improve sperm count and function.2

Vitamin A

Vitamin A is a fat-soluble antioxidant that protects your cells against damaging free radicals and plays other vital roles in the body.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is both a vitamin and a hormone. It's a vitamin because your body cannot absorb calcium without it; it's a hormone because your body manufactures it in response to your skin's exposure to sunlight.

Vitamin D 3 (cholecalciferol) is made by the body and is found in some foods. Vitamin D 2 (ergocalciferol) is the form most often added to milk and other foods, and the form you're most likely to use as a supplement.

Some evidence suggests that getting adequate vitamin D may help prevent cancer of the breast, colon, pancreas, prostate, and skin, but the research on this question has yielded mixed results.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is an antioxidant that protects cell membranes and other fat-soluble parts of the body, such as low-density lipoprotein (LDL; “bad” cholesterol) cholesterol, from damage.

In a double-blind, placebo-controlled study of 110 men whose sperm showed subnormal activity, daily treatment with 100 IU of vitamin E resulted in improved sperm activity and increased rate of pregnancy in their partners.

Niacin – Vitamin B3

Vitamin B 3 is required for the proper function of more than 50 enzymes. Without it, your body would not be able to release energy or make fats from carbohydrates. Vitamin B 3 is also used to make sex hormones and other important chemical signal molecules.

Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 is the master vitamin for processing amino acids—the building blocks of all proteins and some hormones. Vitamin B6 helps to make and take apart many amino acids and is also needed to make the hormones, serotonin, melatonin, and dopamine.

Folate

Folic acid is a B vitamin needed for cell replication and growth. Folic acid helps form building blocks of DNA, the body’s genetic information, and building blocks of RNA, needed for protein synthesis in all cells. Therefore, rapidly growing tissues, such as those of a fetus, and rapidly regenerating cells, like red blood cells and immune cells, have a high need for folic acid.

Vitamin B12

Vitamin B 12, an essential nutrient, is also known as cobalamin. The cobal in the name refers to the metal cobalt contained in B 12. Vitamin B 12 is required for the normal activity of nerve cells and works with folate and vitamin B 6 to lower blood levels of homocysteine, a chemical in the blood that might contribute to heart disease. B 12 also plays a role in the body's manufacture of S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe).

Calcium – Calcium Citrate Is Superior To Carbonate

Calcium is the most abundant mineral in the body, making up nearly 2% of total body weight. More than 99% of the calcium in your body is found in your bones, but the other 1% is perhaps just as important for good health. Many enzymes depend on calcium in order to work properly, as do your nerves, heart, and blood-clotting mechanisms.

One of the most important uses of calcium is to help prevent and treat osteoporosis, the progressive loss of bone mass to which menopausal women are especially vulnerable. Calcium works best when combined with vitamin D.

Other meaningful evidence suggests that calcium may have an additional important use: reducing PMS symptoms.
